Towards a Consistent Interpretation of AIOps Models

چکیده

Artificial Intelligence for IT Operations (AIOps) has been adopted in organizations various tasks, including interpreting models to identify indicators of service failures. To avoid misleading practitioners, AIOps model interpretations should be consistent (i.e., different on the same task agree with one another feature importance). However, many studies violate established practices machine learning community when deriving interpretations, such as suboptimal performance, though impact violations interpretation consistency not studied. In this paper, we investigate along three dimensions: internal consistency, external and time consistency. We conduct a case study two tasks: predicting Google cluster job failures, Backblaze hard drive find that randomness from learners, hyperparameter tuning, data sampling controlled generate interpretations. AUCs greater than 0.75 yield more compared low-performing models. Finally, are constructed Sliding Window or Full History approaches have most trends presented entire datasets. Our provides valuable guidelines practitioners derive interpretation.

Towards Complete LOD3 Models – Automatic Interpretation of Building Structures

The paper presents our work on the automatic reconstruction of complete LOD3 building models. Existing LOD2 models are refined by adding 3D façade geometry with explicit semantic information to the planar facades. Aiming at robust and realistic façade structures, independent of the quality and availabilty of sensor data, object knowledge in the form of a grammar is automatically inferred and ap...

a study on thermodynamic models for simulation of 1,3 butadiene purification columns

attempts have been made to study the thermodynamic behavior of 1,3 butadiene purification columns with the aim of retrofitting those columns to more energy efficient separation schemes. 1,3 butadiene is purified in two columns in series through being separated from methyl acetylene and 1,2 butadiene in the first and second column respectively. comparisons have been made among different therm...

The Consistent Histories Interpretation of Quantum Mechanics

The consistent histories (CH) reformulation of quantum mechanics (QM) was developed by Robert Griffiths, given a formal logical systematization by Roland Omnès, and under the label ‘decoherent histories’, was independently developed by Murray Gell-Mann and James Hartle and extended to quantum cosmology. Criticisms of CH involve issues of meaning, truth, objectivity, and coherence, a mixture of ...

Communication: Consistent interpretation of molecular simulation kinetics using Markov state models biased with external information.

Molecular simulations can provide microscopic insight into the physical and chemical driving forces of complex molecular processes. Despite continued advancement of simulation methodology, model errors may lead to inconsistencies between simulated and reference (e.g., from experiments or higher-level simulations) observables. To bound the microscopic information generated by computer simulation...
